Our mission is to develop functional minds that contribute dynamically and positively in the creation and growth of multicultural, tolerant and inclusive communities for everyone through artistic workshops, and artistic and cultural community events.

According to the UNESCO Universal Declaration on Cultural Diversity, it is stated that cultural diversity is a common heritage of humanity because “it is as necessary for mankind as biological diversity for living organisms… and must be recognized and consolidated for the benefit of present and future generations.” Likewise, “In our increasingly diverse societies, it is essential to ensure harmonious interaction among people and groups with plural, varied and dynamic cultural identities as well as their willingness to live together. Policies for the inclusion and participation of all citizens are guarantees of social cohesion, the vitality of civil society and peace.” It also emphasizes that cultural diversity “is one of the roots of development, understood not simply in terms of economic growth, but also as a means to achieve a more satisfactory intellectual, emotional, moral and spiritual existence.”

Funcionarte Corp is a non-profit organization, tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, created in 2016 that through artistic workshops (literary, visual and manual / craft) and cultural and artistic community events contributes to the creation and development of functional minds capable of forming and increasing multicultural and diversified communities where different cultural groups (regardless of gender, race or age) interact in a healthy, active and positive way.

Also, Funcionarte Corp contributes to the fomentation and creation of networks of solidarity and exchange of cultural knowledge that promote cultural diversity with the integration and participation of the whole community.

Art has been known to be a dynamic and unifying activity, and it stimulates free expression and contributes to the development of creativity. A creative person is able to develop new ideas and solve problems more easily through ingenious or unconventional ways. The learning of art cultivates in the human being a sensitivity that leads him to develop a very solid ethical way of life.
